Agrifood Champions

The agrifood Champions will become the new agrifood industry leaders and ambassadors, operating within their own communities across Australia. The Industry Champion Network consists of selected ‘hands on’ industry identities. They will carry important messages out to Australia’s rural, regional and coastal regions about the rewards for innovation, improved training, enterprise and entrepreneurship.
They will become the focus for regional promotions and industry activities and information. We have chosen Coffs Harbour because it embodies the exciting regional outdoors lifestyle with its overlay of tourism and recreation, so typical of the environments where agrifood enterprises flourish and in fact originated. We have Champions from every part of the agrifood industry and from industries with a strong focus on the regions: airline companies, meat workers, fishermen, TAFE teachers, greyhound, harness and thoroughbred horse racing.
Our industries encompass all of the environments that give Australia’s its character and recognition, the coastal districts like Coffs, the wine producing regions in all states and territories, cotton producers, dairy, horticulture, seafood, food processing and many more sectors.
